Booking & Cancellation Policy

Clear expectations make better learning and event experiences. This policy explains how bookings, participant cancellations, transfers, changes, and BrightGlobe-initiated cancellations are handled.

Effective and last updated: August 10, 2026

Before you book.

This policy applies to bookings for BrightGlobe learning programs and experiences, including courses, masterclasses, workshops, webinars, and events, unless different terms are clearly stated for a particular offering.

BrightGlobe is owned and operated by Nedlegs Incorporated. Some service transactions and bookings may be processed through The Trove Place, a commerce service of Simplicitive Ventures, Inc., or through another authorized booking or payment provider.

01 · Scope

What this policy covers

This Booking & Cancellation Policy applies to BrightGlobe offerings that require registration, reservation, enrollment, or booking, whether delivered in person, online, or in a hybrid format.

These may include:

  • courses and learning programs;
  • masterclasses and workshops;
  • webinars and online sessions;
  • conferences, forums, talks, conversations, and fireside chats;
  • book launches and other ticketed or registered events; and
  • other bookable BrightGlobe experiences.

This policy should be read together with the Terms of Use, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy.

02 · Booking

Making a booking

A booking is made when you complete the applicable registration or checkout process and satisfy any payment or other requirement identified for the offering. For paid offerings, submission of a registration form alone does not necessarily reserve a place unless the booking page expressly says otherwise.

You are responsible for providing accurate participant and contact information. Please check names, email addresses, mobile numbers, selected dates, ticket or program types, and other booking details before submitting your registration.

If you make a booking on behalf of another person, group, company, school, or organization, you are responsible for ensuring that you are authorized to do so and that the participants are informed of the conditions applicable to their participation.

03 · Confirmation

When your place is confirmed

Your place is considered confirmed when you receive an official booking, registration, or payment confirmation from BrightGlobe or the authorized platform processing the transaction, subject to any conditions stated in that confirmation.

Please retain your confirmation and transaction records. If you believe you completed a booking but did not receive confirmation, contact us before making another payment so that we can check the transaction.

Limited-capacity experiences. Places may be allocated on a first-confirmed, first-served basis. Adding an offering to a cart, beginning checkout, or expressing interest does not by itself guarantee a place.

04 · Payment

Prices, fees, and payment

Prices and inclusions will be displayed or communicated before booking. Any applicable taxes, transaction charges, delivery charges, or other material fees will be identified where required and reasonably practicable.

Payments may be processed through The Trove Place or another authorized payment or commerce provider. The payment provider may have additional terms applicable to the transaction.

BrightGlobe may offer promotional, early-bird, institutional, partner, student, or other special rates. Eligibility requirements and promotional periods may apply, and discounts generally cannot be combined unless expressly stated.

05 · Participant Cancellation

If you need to cancel

We understand that plans change. If you can no longer attend or participate, please notify BrightGlobe as soon as possible using the contact details in this policy.

Whether your cancellation qualifies for a full refund, partial refund, credit, transfer, or no refund depends on the conditions stated for the particular offering and the timing of your cancellation.

Unless a specific offering states a different cancellation schedule, the applicable refund treatment will be determined under BrightGlobe's Refund Policy.

Why cancellation deadlines matter. In-person and live programs may require advance commitments for venues, catering, materials, facilitators, technology, travel, staffing, and limited participant capacity. For this reason, some fees or portions of a booking may become non-refundable as the program or event approaches.

06 · Transfers

Transfers and participant substitutions

Where an offering permits it, BrightGlobe may allow you to transfer your booking to another scheduled session or substitute another eligible participant.

Transfers and substitutions are not automatic. They must be requested before the applicable deadline, remain subject to availability and eligibility requirements, and may be subject to price differences or reasonable administrative conditions.

A booking cannot be resold, auctioned, or commercially transferred without BrightGlobe's written authorization.

07 · Attendance

No-shows and late arrival

If you do not attend an offering for which you have a confirmed booking and have not cancelled within the applicable period, you may be treated as a no-show. Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated for the offering, no-shows are generally not entitled to a refund, credit, or replacement session.

For live programs and events, late admission may be restricted when entry would materially disrupt the session, compromise safety or security, or conflict with venue requirements. BrightGlobe will make reasonable efforts to accommodate late arrivals where practicable.

08 · Program Changes

Changes made by BrightGlobe

Occasionally, circumstances require us to adjust an offering. BrightGlobe may make reasonable changes to matters such as schedule, room, venue, platform, sequence, facilitator, speaker, or delivery format.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes to confirmed participants using the contact information supplied during booking.

A minor change that does not materially alter the overall nature or value of an offering does not ordinarily constitute a cancellation. If a change is material, BrightGlobe will provide an appropriate option consistent with the circumstances, the offering-specific terms, and applicable law.

09 · BrightGlobe Cancellation

If BrightGlobe cancels or reschedules

BrightGlobe may need to cancel or reschedule an offering because of insufficient enrollment, facilitator or speaker unavailability, venue issues, technical limitations, safety concerns, operational requirements, or other circumstances.

If BrightGlobe cancels a paid offering and does not provide the contracted service, affected participants will generally be offered an appropriate remedy, which may include a refund, credit, transfer, or rescheduled participation, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

If an offering is rescheduled, we will communicate the new arrangements and any available options to affected participants.

Travel and accommodation. Unless BrightGlobe expressly agreed otherwise in writing, participants arrange travel, accommodation, transportation, visas, and related expenses at their own responsibility. Consider flexible arrangements where significant travel is required. This does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.

10 · Beyond Our Control

Events beyond reasonable control

An offering may be affected by circumstances beyond BrightGlobe's reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, public emergencies, government restrictions, transport disruption, widespread power or telecommunications failure, venue closure, security incidents, or comparable events.

In such situations, BrightGlobe may postpone, relocate, modify, move an offering online where appropriate, or cancel it. We will communicate with affected participants as reasonably practicable and determine available remedies in light of the circumstances, contractual commitments, and applicable law.

11 · Online Learning

Online and hybrid programs

For webinars, virtual courses, and hybrid experiences, participants are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection, and any software reasonably identified before the session.

Access links, passwords, recordings, course portals, and participant-only resources must not be shared unless BrightGlobe expressly permits sharing.

If a significant technical failure within systems controlled by BrightGlobe prevents delivery of a material part of a paid online offering, BrightGlobe may provide a replacement session, recording where appropriate, credit, refund, or another reasonable remedy depending on the circumstances.

Individual connectivity, device, or software problems outside BrightGlobe's control do not automatically entitle a participant to a refund, although we may try to assist where reasonably possible.

12 · Products

Books and physical products

This policy primarily governs bookings for learning programs and events. Purchases of books and other physical products may instead be governed by the terms, shipping, cancellation, return, and refund policies of the store or retailer through which the purchase is completed.

BrightGlobe book purchases may be fulfilled or sold through HarborPoint Store, a product-commerce brand of Simplicitive Ventures, Inc., or through other authorized retailers and distributors.

Always review the applicable product terms shown at checkout, particularly for shipping, damaged or incorrect items, returns, and delivery-related concerns.

13 · Refunds

Refund requests and processing

Eligibility for a refund is governed by the BrightGlobe Refund Policy, any offering-specific conditions disclosed before booking, and applicable law.

Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method or another method reasonably determined by the relevant payment or commerce provider. Processing times can vary depending on banks, card issuers, payment gateways, and other financial-service providers.

BrightGlobe will not reduce or remove refund or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

14 · Groups

Group, corporate, and institutional bookings

Group bookings, commissioned programs, school or university arrangements, corporate learning engagements, institutional events, and private sessions may be governed by a proposal, quotation, agreement, purchase order, contract, or other written terms specific to that engagement.

Where those written terms differ from this general policy, the specific agreed terms will govern that booking to the extent of the inconsistency.

15 · Your Rights

Consumer rights remain protected

This policy is intended to create clear and fair booking expectations. It does not exclude, restrict, or waive consumer rights, remedies, warranties, or other protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable Philippine law.

Clear before booking

Material prices, inclusions, and special booking conditions should be disclosed before you commit.

Fair when plans change

Cancellation outcomes depend on timing, commitments already made, offering-specific terms, and applicable rights.

Responsible when we change plans

When BrightGlobe makes a material change or cancellation, we will communicate available remedies to affected participants.

Human support

If a situation does not fit neatly into a policy category, contact us so the circumstances can be reviewed.

16 · Contact
